While most teenagers were in the
house playing video games Steve Bricks
and Ray Burnz were honing their writing
and producing skills on a daily basis. Who would
have thought so many years later the childhood friends
would see the day their dreams would unfold live on the
national stage! The path to success wasn't always easy and
was never taken for granted. Bricks and Burnz who first
started the group CV shortly after Bricks returned from active
duty in the United Stated Marine Corps immediately began
hitting the streets with their rough recordings and demos in
the city of New Bedford Ma. Their fan base grew but not
without opposition. The edgy sexual themes and love they
received from the women in the area were good enough
reasons for some to take up against them. Never missing an
opportunity Bricks and Burnz stepped up their pretty boy type
songs and went hard. At that moment in time investors
stepped in and purchased Bricks and Burnz a Industry
standard fully blown out recording studio where the rappers
recorded their first release "Other Peoples Money". Released
in 09 the Album earned the group industry praise and at that
time was approached by Pigfactory Publishing. After some
simple negotiations Bricks and Burnz inked the deal and
began to submit their music. Since then they have had music
on a variety of TV shows to include MTV NETWORKS
MADE,ABDC,G's TO GENTS and The Hills. Bricks and Burnz are
now getting ready to release their second Album Believe with
the hopes of really showing the world what artists from
Massachusetts can accomplish by following their dreams
following through and always following their hearts. Never
stop believing in yourself and never let anyone tell you what
